Crysbro is Dedicated to Empower Stakeholders

Sustainability has always occupied a prime position on leading chicken producer Crysbro’s list of operational priorities. Whether it is empowering partner farming communities, initiating environmentally friendly practices or facilitating the growth of its own employees, this quintessentially Sri Lankan agricultural leader has constantly looked to set benchmarks with its Corporate Social Responsibility.

‘CRYSBRO Next Champ’ is a program to discover and nurture rural sports talents into national attention. Since 2018 we are able to identify over 120 youths and most of them have now become winners of national and international gold medals.

‘CRYSBRO Diri Saviya’ uplifts the lives of maize farmers and chicken out-growers located across the country, support of these farming families by administering assistance to 1,200 maize farmers and 250 contract growers.

‘CRYSBRO Haritha Sathkaraya’ has been adopted to transform our facilities into being more environmentally friendly and to help promote local biodiversity initiatives.

‘CRYSBRO Sisu Diriya’: Over 3870 children have been provided with free school books since 2012 through the ‘CRYSBRO Sisu Diriya’ program, tasked with uplifting the educational potential of children belonging to our employees.

‘CRYSBRO Praja Aruna’ Housing Project was launched in 2012 to renovate and build houses of our most deserving of employees who work tirelessly. We believe that socio-economically disadvantaged employees deserve a better standard of living. Since its inception, 71 renovations and 28 new houses have been built and completed.

‘CRYSBRO Suva Shakthi’ is an initiative to renovate public health facilities in Sri Lanka. Gampola Government Hospital’s General Ward is one of the few places that have benefited from this initiative.
